Labor day week was nice. I went to see my grandma, and there she had some knitting booklets. I tried to teach myself, and could do the cast on stitches. I couldnt figure out how to do the knit stitch. My mom kept repeating that I should try crocheting but I wanted to learn knitting. I feel like everyone crochets, I wanted to learn something different. The book I was using to learn was a bit confusing in hindsight. I went home saturday just feeling frustrated bc I couldnt figure it out. I went to bed, and was just thinking about it the whole time. So much so that I went over the next day to try to give it a second attempt. I was actually able to figure it out after watching a youtube video. I only know how to do casting on, and the knit stitch. Ive been making a yellow scarf, its very wonky and messy but Im happy with my progress.
I find myself working on so much that my arms start to hurt, or cramp. Hopefully with time it will hurt less.
I do want to work on my main site more. I guess Im just finding other things to take up my time. For example Ive been moderating alot for eyerizi and intelligent_rice - under the game gayBaltro - a joke name I made a while ago, that got stuck to me. but notes at least make feel somewhat like im working on my site. I feel like maybe with my journal I want it to be slighty more polished. and starting new pages can be daunting sometimes. hmm idk maybe ill figure out a different way to display my journal vs notes vs devnotes... haha.
